My journey started when the T-Mobile phone I had, was having problem, it was a free phone because I was eligable for a free upgrade. I had to replace this one after about a year because it didn't work well. I went to the T-Mobile store at Southridge Mall and inquired about my eligability for an upgrade. I was shown a phone that was $80 and was told that it had a $50 rebate, so it will only cost me $30. They gave me the forms to send in for the rebate. I copied everything before I sent it in, like that mattered anyway. I followed the instructions to the letter. A few weeks later I received a letter that said my rebate had been cancelled, it gave me a number to call and refile my rebate, which I did. Incidently the customer service person could not explain why it was cancelled in the first place. Well another few weeks passed and I received another of those letters and so I called and refiled yet again. I did this a total of three times, then finally someone from the customer service for rebates told me that the rebate I was filing for was not for my phone. I explained that the sales person at the store where I purchased the phone was wrong. WRONG! how can this be? I told them that this was a T-Mobile store and that they should stand behind this. I was I would not get the rebate, regardless. The best they could do me was a free month of service, which amounted to about $34 bucks and a two year contract. I don't know what I was thinking when I accepted this. I have sent an email to there customer service via their website and have never received a reply. This September when my contract is up, Later T-Mobile. This company does not stand by their people or their promises. Don't be fooled by anything they say.

I want to formally apologize for the issue with the rebate. Unfortunantly T-Mobile does not deal directly with the rebates. A group named Young America files all the rebates. They also handle other cellular companies rebates as well. It's unfortunant that they were unable to honor that rebate thru their company but i really hope this doesn't soil your relationship with Tmobile.
