On August 22,2004 I signed a contract with T-Mobile for two free phones, with first month free, free unlimited mobile to mobile, free nights and weekends, and only $49.99 a month. I still have a copy of the original contract.

My first bill I received from them on October 20, 2004 had a previous balance of $858.08, a past due amount of $139.85 and monthly service charges of $285.90. Clearly they were trying to make me pay someone elses bill.

When I called to dialogue with someone about the bill, an obnoxious, arrogant and rude individual named Todd, told me that if I didn't pay the bill after they knocked off $600.00, they were going to terminate my service and add a $400.00 cancellation fee, and turn me over to their collection agency with the intent of damaging my credit. In December, they did exactly what Todd said they would do. HELP!

I have been with T-Mobile for 6 years and I love them and have NEVER had any problems with them. Did you have prior service with them and come back to them? That might explain a little.

The best thing to do is get onto their website and figure out where to send correspondence, send them a copy of your initial contract and a copy of the bill with a letter asking them to remedy the problem. It sounds like someone's wires are just crossed.
