I received a letter stating I had won $38,000. I also received a very authentic looking check for $3,820. It said I had won by being entered, without my knowledge, into a 'Consumer's Reward Program Lottery'.
The names attached to the letter are Thomas Goods, Cecelia Hay and Lisa Epainto (vice president). The 3,820 is to pay for the luxury tax.

It also said they attempted to contact me previously. Hmmm, they had no problem this time. . .

I immediately became suspicious because the middle name they used for me was one I use whenever I sign up for an account at a questionable website for something non-consequential such as a discussion board, game site, cheap product, etc. where I'm fairly certain the name is going into the vast bin of mass mailing spam.

From my understanding, once the check bounces, there is info about my checking account that can be obtained.
