Complaint Review: Tadd Elzinga

Tadd Elzinga Of Creative Concrete Concepts signed a contract with me to do All the concrete work at 4994 bluff dr. The work entailed everything from the basement walls, floors, driveways, lower garage, cement slab docksplank that goes above the lower garage, sidewalks, patio below deck and patio. (See contract). Tadd completed the work for the basement walls and some of the excavating. The walls in the basements have huge cracks and a wall that is bowed out by at least a foot. I paid upfront for the work he complete which is fine, but then he requested payment for the docksplank of $8000. then charged me another $250 for the beam above the doorways for $250 (come to find out its free from kerkstra) After waiting months for it and his promises I called Kerkstra who was to provide it and had no record of anything on it. I paid that and never saw it.

In the meantime he had the huge piles of dirt in the backyard sitting there and I know his plan was to make some money for himself on the dirt that was taken out for the basement garage. He couldnt get anyone to buy it so he dumped it over the hill along with all the broken concrete from the concrete removed from patios and existing garage. The Dirt caused a washout down the hill, causing $7000 in damages through my insurance, and the concrete is still on the hill to this day. The damage also caused a work stop order on the house so I had to get a real excavator to come in and clean up his mess for $3500.

Tadd has stolen Huge trees, over 1000 vintage brick street pavers, over 30 rocks that were at least 2 round from the property and his attorney was caught trying to steal a trailer load himself. I even had a new drill I just bought still sealed in the package at the house as a gift for my brother who lives next door who has been helping me with this project and come in the house one day and he was using it to put in cement anchors!!

He has also took down large trees from my brothers property and ruined the landscaping in front of his house.

I have a massive concrete ramp from the old part of the house put in by Tadd which is a cover up to cover his mistakes and miscalculations of a hole to the outside.

Tadd didnt follow the prints. The ceilings in the lower garage were supposed to be 9 tall and are only 8. The walls were supposed to be at least 10 and are only 8

I also paid Tadd to cut doors in the cement wall into the other house to find that first he totally ruined the opened and large pieces were missing. Then to find out a month later that we have a lien on the house for $803 from Diamond drilling who did part of the saw cutting. I ended up paying to get the lien off the house.

I have paid him for staining the fireplace brick, the rest of the brick on the outside of the house for $350. paid $250 for driveway drainage, Nothing was done.

After paying more to get the sidewalks and patio started I get a bill in the mail from one of my distributors from the company I own. It was for 3 refrigerators!! I never said he could use the account. He said that I owed it to him. The next week it got even worse with a credit card bill from Coit Ave gravel company for $1200 for concrete which Tadd used my credit card to pay for the concrete as Coit Ave had the credit card on file! I never

Would allow anyone to use my credit card or account. Tadd knew I was going to be on vacation and took the refrigerators and used my credit card then.

All I have gotten from Tadd for over 9 months of this project were lies and false promises. He doesnt have a license for doing the work nor to even drive yet he is driving. He knows the police in Wyoming and let him get away with this. If you check his records to will find that he has ripped off other people and companies. Not to mention the problems I have had with him on diamond drilling, and even haul-a-way dumpster.

He has many arrests and has even killed a little girl and with a hit and run accident.

I have video recorded with a camera saying we gave him 26,000 and I have a check after that point for $4000 to finish the basement. This is way over the $28,000 needed to complete the job. The only things he completed were the basement and lower garage walls and floors, demo garage.
