Professional demeanor with a few rough edges.
Taffie Fillingame tried to beat us out of $4000 with her little scam. Multiple emails, texts, phone calls telling us that she worked for a rich celebrity willing to fund our business. We could get $50,000 in funding if we paid her a "loan origination " fee of $4000.
The only stipulation was the deal had to be all cash, multiple times cash was verified as the medium. Red flags were popping up everywhere but we played along just to see where it went.
The best part is when we were finally going to the attorneys office to close. We went to a 28 story Atlanta building. Took the elevator to the 28th floor, waited in the attorneys lobby for about 10 minutes, then redirected back to the first floor lobby where we waited for another 2 hours allecgedly waiting for Clifford Joseph Harris to arrive to sign the papers. Well Mr. Harris was detained of course.
While we were waiting we were told that instead of cash that I was now going to get a check. My response was that I still wanted the cash.
Of course that killed her scam. We waited another 45 minutes until she said Mr. Harris was going to be further delayed and we would have to reschedule.
She even had her 13 yo daughter with her. Why she was not in school is a mystery.
She goes by Taffie Fillingame, her vehicle is registered to Shirley Ann Fillingame at a Dallas, GA address. Email is (((Redacted))) Phone # is (((Redacted))).
If you google her name she comes up in Phoenix AZ and Atlanta. However there is a facebook page for the same name but has a different photo.
I knew this was a scam from the beginning but followed it to see how she planned to get my money.
This report is to get her name out there as to what she is and hopefully prevent anyone from actually getting scammed.

As previous wrote, I never tried to scam this person. I was only instructed by private investor MR HARRIS to conduct interview to see is business was legit and that this person able to pay back money once Loaned. We met that day to meet with Mr Harris to conclude contract and out of good faith and assurance Mr Harris wanted a $4k percentage down.
I intern nver took any money from borrower and in all honestly never thought about doing so. Me and my mom are good people with great background and great family. I feel so bad that he thought such thing.
Mr Harris that day did not show up so nothing happen. I apologized to borrower and we left.
In all sincerity I hope this can get resolved on a positive outcome, and that we get cleared from allegation.
I can understand how the borrower felt at the time but however I'm not the one that does that type of thing nor my mom.
I just asked to be cleared upon misunderstanding and background deleted from web.

This lady stated that i tried to scam her..i did not..i only interviewed her as a potential client for a private investor whom was wanted to invest in her business start up...it which she needed funds for a beauty college funded amount $50k. When i met with her downtown atlanta we were suppose to meet with Mr Harris to fund her business however since it was a substantial amount of money needed he suggested that Ms Jones pay $4k fir assurance that she will meet obligation of payment back to investor with a signed contract. That day 01/2015 me and my daughter met her and her siblings including sister to location at firm where we would openly conduct business at lawyer office. My daughter came alone so she could meet Mr Harris and she was out of school that day. Mr Harris did not show up because she did not come through with money and we sat in lobby for about 2 hrs waiting for Mr Harris to show up. I was embarrassed because I wanted to help Ms Jones. I never took any money from her nor was i trying to take her money. I am a honest person and my family including my mom we have no reason to scam anyone. Before leaving place i apologized to her letting her know I'm sorry Mr Harris did not show up and we also went to lawyers office upstairs to meet him there but the receptionists had no notice if him showing up or appointment for that day. I would like this to be resolved and removed because i never took anymore from this lady. I only was instructed to meet with her and be with them during closing of contract with her and Mr Harris. I'm sorry that she thought i was trying to take her money..its sad that a good person like me and my mom shirley fillingame have such a derogatory file on the internet. I'm asking for us to be removed with positive words and i hope that she finds in her heart to realize im not the one trying to take her hard dollar. Me nor my my Shirley Fillingame We have never ever been in trouble so i hope this gets resolved. Thank you Taffie Fillingame
