During our vacation trip to Las Vegas we purchased a timeshare for 1 week at Tahiti Village, Consolidated Resorts, Las Vegas and regret about it the next day after the purchase.Their salesmen used high pressure tactics and were very persistent. They stretched the truth, stated half truths, and they omitted much. They promised 6 free vacation trips which turned out to be not free at all. Also they didn't give time to properly assess our financial situation before making decision.
They didn't mention about 5 days of cancelation period (Nevada State's law).

Now about 20 days have passed. We called their Legal department about our chances for cancellation. They requested a written letter with detailed explanation.
Relying on your experience what are our chances for purchase agreement cancellation and getting full refund?
We would very appreciate any advice.

Hi Tnp,

Honestly, your going to have a major BATTLE with this company. This company has a long Record of Scamming people. I have a long write up on here and if you want to read the full write up of my story look up Derf - consolidated / Tahiti Village on here. I have hired a lawyer and also working with The Owners Advocate. But at this time I am making very little progress. I am also in contact with owners of this website to release my contact information to everyone that has filed a complaint on Consolidated, so that we can talk more and work together rather then individually. Here is what I suggest that you do

1. Write Consolidated and notify them of your issues but don't expect this to go to far. Do a Google search on Consolidated / Tahiti Village / Robert Paisola. Consolidated is renting out our timeshares on Expedia that is in direct violation with our contracts. This may help you.

2. Research your deed number on the Clark County recorders website. My contract states that I bought Phase 2 but my deed is for an empty lot behind phase 2.

3. Write the Better Business Bureau
4. Write the Federal trade Commission
5. Write the Nevada Attorney General
6. Email Ripoff.com and request Derfs Contact Info.

This is everything I have done so far. If we can get directly in touch with each other, I think that we could coordinate our efforts.

Hope this helps and I hope to hear from you soon.

Fred
