Talent Rock Scammer and Fraud Maitland, Florida
We were offered this wonderful opportunity for my son to audition for Talent Rock Jan 19, 2008. We were told that you must be good to recv. a call back from them. We did in deed recv. a call back. When we went for the call back meeting we were told we had to put up $4500.00 in order to participate. We were a little skepticle but not real bad. We did a BBB inquiry. There was some complaints but they did explain them. So we did pay this money.
All was going good till the week of Feb 18, 2008. None of us could get in touch with anyone at the talent rock office. Then we took our son to the promised workshop. When we arrived and the other 8 sets of parents arrived - there was no teacher that showed. We all called frantically. I finally got a call back on Monday morning from one of our contacts that we were all trying to reach and she is no longer with the company.
Every number we tried was no longer with the company. We were told that at this time the event is still on. We are no comforted by this statement. We, the parents of Dallas Texas that are participating in this event - are all very upset. We have tried to contact the president of the company Dan Joelson and he won't take my calls. We have now read the report that there is a possibility of a buy out or bankruptcy. We are still planning on going to this event that at this point is still planned for May 2008 but we are very skeptical. Please if you have any other thoughts or feelings let us know.
