talenthunter.com is not all they are cut out to be. Yah maybe talenthunter.com is the fastest growing site for talent but some of their claims seem out there. I signed up at talenthunter.com and actually got many leads for movie extra and acting roles, but they charge a fee and I don't like that! Maybe talenthunter.com should be free, but it was how would talenthunter make its money, I guess Talent hunter has to charge a fee, maybe they arent a scam, probably not just wanted to voice my opinion about talenthunter.com. I saw that talenthunter.com has alot of positive reviews so maybe all the hype is wrong, actually it probably is!

This person must think the readers here are ignorant. In an earlier post, he/she posted a rebuttal to an accusation that talenthunter.com was a scam, and he/she is registered as the owner of talenthunter.com. NOW, I have to point out, that when you want to post a rebuttal on here, there is a rebuttal button to the right that you click on to do so, when you click on that button, it will ask if you are already a registered user of ripoffreport.com and if not you HAVE to register first, otherwise it will not allow you to post a rebuttal. With that being said, when I clicked on the rebuttal button to post THIS rebuttal, I had to register because I was not already a registered user of ripoffreport.com. After I registered and confirmed, I was then able to begin creating this rebuttal and the very first thing it asks you, is to select your relationship to this company in which you are posting the rebuttal to (actually, it's a circle you click on, which then puts a dot in the middle of that circle indicating your selection) So,
the very first option on the list says,

"I am the Owner of the Company Reported" (your correct phone # required above for verification or this will not be posted)

Here is the entire section, just so you can see what other choices were available to
the person,

Step 1 - Categorize Your Response

Categorize your response to this Report (Be sure to select the best category for your situation)

** Your relationship to the company:

I am the Owner of the Company Reported (your correct phone # required
above for verification or this will not be posted)

I am the Individual Reported (phone # required above)

I am an Employee of the Company Reported

I am an Employee of the Company with Inside information

I am an Ex-Employee of the Company Reported

I have a Consumer Suggestion or a constructive solution on how to resolve or avoid this Rip-off in the future. Any other nonsense will be ignored

I have a Consumer Comment: I am none of the above but have comments regarding this Ripoff Report and wish to express my opinion. These Comments will be treated as "Letters to the EDitor" Solid, productive criticism, your opinions and other comments accepted only.

As you can clearly see, you have to physically select who you are in relation to the company, so I doubt that selecting you are the owner of the company is ever done by accident because it CLEARLY states that if you ARE the owner of the company, you HAVE to submit your telephone number for VERIFICATION otherwise your rebuttal will NOT be posted, and this is a REQUIREMENT when you are posting as the company's owner- so there is NO WAY that this person selected "owner" by accident.

Here is a link to the rebuttal that this same user, "talenthunter" (above) posted elsewhere on the site about 9 months from the date they posted the above rebuttal: (and the rebuttal they posted above, clearly shows them implying that they are a customer of talenthunter.com

For those who don't want to click and see for yourself , basically here is what the poster of that rebuttal has listed:

Talenthunter provides quality services and is no way a ripoff as this consumer stated

When a member upgrades it is clearly stated that this a subscription and will be charged periodically based on the package chosen. It is in bold print so members clearly understand the terms of their subscription. Also members can cancel anytime electronically on our site at anytime. If this user was unable to use our services we would be happy to rectify this misunderstanding, as our goal is to provide the best service possible to our members. We have an auto response system to simplify our customer service so we can offer our members a lower price for the services they are using. If this complaint is valid, we would be happy to issue this user a refund and also offer this member a 1 year free subscription free of charge if indeed they were not able to use our service. This member needs to provide their user id or user name so we can investigate this complaint further.

here's the link to the original complaint that the owner above rebuttaled to:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/260/RipOff0260645.htm

Now, as you can see... this post here about him/her being a "customer" is TOTAL B.S. and should be a DEFINITE sign that the site is infact a scam, because if it were not, the OWNER would not need to list rebuttals pretending that he/she is a customer
because if it were a legitimate site, then LEGITIMATE customers would be posting LEGITIMATE rebuttals defending the site.

As far as I'm concerned, they just PROVED that talenthunter.com IS a scam.

No HONEST owner would deceptively pose as a customer of their own company.
That is just absurd.

Here again, is the SAME USER posing as a "customer" of talenthunter.com ( i like how
they start off like they are a "skeptical" customer, but by the end of the post they miraculously turn into a customer who is "convinced" that talenthunter.com is legit!)

PU-LEEEASE! I like how they said, "but they charge a fee and I don't like that!!" hahaha, ok...well, if you don't like that talenthunter, then WHY are you charging a fee ?

And I guess he/she takes us all for ignorant idiots because he/she obviously didn't realize that the same REGISTERED username, (talenthunter) and city & state
would show up on their posts. I'm sure they realized this AFTER they posted, but once you post you can't go back in and edit or delete it, as the terms of posting
a rebuttal state:

"I acknowledge that once I post my report, it will not be removed, even at my request."

I'm sure he realized this. But probably not until AFTER he realized his username
shows him posting as BOTH owner AND customer. But what could he do at this point?
Nothing. THAT'S Karma.

And just incase he/she tries to argue that they are not the same person who listed
themselves as the owner of talenthunter.com let it be known that the same username cannot be used by someone else if it is already in use, AND even if the
person were to delete or close their registered account, the username does not get recycled and will ALWAYS come up as taken if someone else signing up as a new user selects a username that has already been used on the site by someone else, regardless if the previous user deleted and closed their account.

Also take note, that if this person says they are not the same person, it sure seems
a bit ironic that not only is the username the same, but what are the odds that they are actually in the same city and state as the "other" person with the username talenthunter. Don't think for a second that it's not the same person, they
were verified when they registered as the owner.

I'd LOVE to see their rebuttal to THIS post, to MY rebuttal.

I can guarantee there won't be one.
