Complaint Review: Talents Unlimited

 On January 11th 2013 I hired Talents unlimited to build two decks in my backyard one for an above ground pool and was promised that it would not ever touch the pool wall but sit on supports above the pool wall and that putting a cover on would be no problem. At the same time he built a spa deck that would with stand 5000 lbs. I was quoted and paid in full $3175.00. The pool deck started sagging within two weeks. I notified Talents Unlimited and was told no problem, its a quick fix and covered under the warranty. The pool deck continued to sag until it is resting on my pool wall causing damage to my pool. I texted Talents Unlimited every week or so and was told they were busy and would get to it next week. They never came. I gave them a deadline, then another, the last one expired May 18th more than 5 months after the deck was built. The spa deck is about 2 feet off the ground and it cannot be stepped on or off from the ground without injury; it needs a step. I was told by Kevin (the proprietor), the step would be made for the deck no problem covered under warranty. No amount of begging or pleading would prompt the proprietor to repair his work. I feel he is also responsible for the damage to my pool.
