TalkMore USA billed my work telephone for calling cards which they said I ordered and entered my work phone as the billing number. On their Sign Up page it states you have to be an authorized account owner to incur charges on the telephone account provided. (That's on a revised form from the one they sent my job).

When the Special Investigations Unit from my job showed me the page which had my personal information, it was nothing like the web page they now have. It didn't state anything about airline tickets or calling cards, it was a blank page with letterhead at the top. They said the promotion was for free airline tickets so where does calling cards come in.

I have MCI which you can call anywhere in the US and not be charged. People should file a claim with the Better Business Bureau and put them out of business. But now they state everything and how they bill. I don't recall signing up for anything but they said it came from my IP address, (IP's constantly change).

All this took place in February 2003 and they didn't bill my place of work until February 2005. What's up with that? I see that TalkMore has lawsuits pending, wonder if it has anything to do with their deception. They stated they emailed me a toll free acess number and pin which I never confirmed, (because I had no knowledge of the above)and to date, I never used the calling cards (which I never received).

This company may have tried to clean their act up now, but they've messed with the wrong one!
