Last week I asked AOL to provide a MAC code so that I could move my broadband service to another supplier.  Within an hour or so of doing so, the line speed dropped from about 1500 kb/s to just over 300 kb/s.  Any coincidence?  I am still paying for the same service until early October but I get the distinct impression that this is very bad grace on their behalf.  It only confirms to me that my decision to move away from AOL/TalkTalk was correct.
