Complaint Review: TAMARAC DENTAL PLACE - HERMAN JOSEPH

I went to my first visit at Tamarac Dental Place and saw Dr. Herman Joseph, who is in network with my insurance. While there, I had X-Rays done to see what work needed to be done. I was then told that I had 7 cavities that needed to be filled. At the time my insurance was not completely updated and needed a student verification form faxed to them. The dentist office told me that my insurance would only cover a certain amount of the work that needed to be done and it would cost me over $1,000.00 to get the cavities filled. They then told me that if I paid that day in cash they would take $800.00, before even consulting with my insurance company. They also tried to tell me that vaniers would be covered under my insurance which I know for a fact is a lie, and then my bill would be almost $3,500. So I decided to call my general dentist in New York and see how much cavities would cost me up there. They wouldn't cost me anything so I bought a $200 plane ticket and flew up there to find out that I don't have any cavities. Do not go to this practice they are crooks and will rip you off!
