My washing machine broke down, I googled local appliance repair service, found the Web site appliance-repair-local.com/ which seemed legitimate, repairman named Jeff Ford came in same day, did some diagnostics and said he has to order a part, which will be available next day or following day. He asked for $240 deposit for the part, which he claimed cost $450. After waiting for a week I started calling him, every day part delivery was being delayed to next day. After a few days I got fed up and cancelled his service and demanded a refund. He said he will return the part ( which I doubt was ever ordered ) and substract restocking fee and service fee for his original visit and would refund the rest. A week later I started calling to see where my money is, no one is able to say. The company has 2 different 800 numbers, one 813 local Tampa number and I have Jeff's cell phone with 904 area code from Jacksovnille area.

I plan to call all these numbers every day until I get something from them or they stop taking my calls. I have no mailing address, the receipt Jeff left me only has phone number, no address.
