Tampa Singles Kept my deposit after I decided not to join for $2000, and told me they would turn me over to collections, even though the person I spoke to crossed the entrance fee off my contract. Liars, conmen, ST Tampa, Florida
They refuse to tell you the price of their services until you go through the whole spiel, they tell you the people they work with are all professionals, doctors, lawyers, pilots, military, all quality people. They tell you how wonderful you are and how they love working with you, how nice you are, how funny you are, how many great people you will meet, etc.
When they get to the $4000 price, they see if you will pay it, if not, they will offer to lower it for you. My deposit check was cashed the same day. When I called to cancell and asked for my deposit back,the next day, they threatened to send me to collections saying I owed them $1500 for taking my application. When signing the application, I asked about this $1500 fee, and the girl said that was no longer applicable.
These people are cons. They are scum. They should be run out of town. They use every emotional trick they can to get vulnerable people to sign up for their services at a ridiculous overprice. Then they threaten you with a collector if you do not pay them a $1500 fee that you were told was not applicable. They start out acting like your best friend when they want your money, and turn into snarling beasts when they do not get it.
Do not even go near this place. I am surprised that the State Attorney is not investigating this place for fraud.
