On 02/23/22 I placed an order from Tani for two SilkCut V-Neck T-shirts with a credit card via PayPal. The order was delivered on 02/28/22. Unfortunately, due to traveling for business, I was unable to try these shirts on until 04/12/22. I tried on one of the two shirts and found the V-Neck cut was too high, so it could be seen under a sport shirt. I decided to keep the one shirt that I had tried on and return the other shirt that was still in new condition.

Tani does not have a public return policy that I am able to find on their website.  Accordingly, I sent Tani an email and they referred me to their return policy website. https://taniusa.com/pages/returns-exchange-policy

 

I replied to Tani and asked for a one-time exception to the return policy, to return the one new shirt. Tani sent me a return label and I returned the one item, but never received a refund. I then filed a PayPal dispute for half of the order value. Tani replied to me via PayPal and asked me if the matter was resolved. I replied that it was not resolved and needed a refund. PayPal closed the dispute after Tani didn't reply, and never notified me. Tani committed FRAUD by allowing me to return a brand new item that they could then resell, and never providing a refund or replying to my PayPal Case. 

 

The one Tani shirt I kept has now yellowed, despite being worn once a week and laundered in the Laundress Whites Detergent.

 

DO NOT purchase anything from this merchant as they are fraudulent. I would recommend Son of the Tailer shirts, as I purchased their shirts after my horrible experience with Tani. These shirts are of high quality with a guaranteed remake policy. My Son of a Tailors shirts are around the same age and have not yellowed.
