Complaint Review: Tanner Transmissions

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to Tanner to get some work done on my transmission. They completely rebuilt the entire transmission and charged us $1,953.75!! More than I have ever had to pay for repairs on a car.

I was very reluctant but desperate and paid them the money. Unfortunately, they only had a six month warranty and I did not call the Better Business Bureau before I dropped off my car to a bunch of frauds.

Furthermore, one year later my car is completely out of commission. The transmission is completely shot and sitting in my driveway due to the fact that this lously company will not stand behind their product nor their service. They will do nothing about their bad transmission service and to top it off they were extremely hostile when I told them about my problem.

Check this out...they actually said it was something I did to the car!!

The more people I inform about the dilema the more I am finding out about their bad business. They are noted in the Better Business Bureau as one in which not to take your car to. For those of you out there who have a transmission problem...don't take it to TANNER TRANSMISSION in Utah.
