Complaint Review: TAP Pharmaceuticals

I worked for TAP for one year as a rep in Oregon. I had worked for another company for 3 1/2 years before my TAP time, so I was able to see a huge difference -- a huge negative difference on TAP's part. At the time, they were going through their huge lawsuit with the U.S. Attorney's office and they were very skittish, to say the least.

I finally quit after reporting a manager's (not mine) boasting and bragging about handing out a bunch of Prevacid samples to his family members - I'm talking thousands of dollars worth - he's been with the company a long time and my co-workers were angry at me for it! He was fired, but now TAP gives me a "left under negative circumstances" reference even though I did the right thing (and the thing I was legally obligated to do according to company policy and plain and simple law) and this manager now works as a manager for another pharmaceutical company which means that TAP did not record this theft and misuse of a prescribed drug to the DEA/FDA.

Bizarre.
