Sears sold me a substandard Tappen stove in 2005, I have called and begged them to take the stove back but they sent me to Electrolux/Tappen who further delayed the process and still there is no resolve to this issue. I have many burns from pots sliding off the burners. When Sears sent out a repair man he went back saying that I was trying to use the stove for commerical cooking and therefore nothing is wrong with the stove. According to Sears Technician, I can not use a pot on the stove that is any larger than the burner itself. I told him no one told me this when they sold the stove to me. When I turn the oven on the entire stove is so hot to the touch I keep burning my hand when I open the oven door and hold on to the top of the stove to get the pan out of the oven.
