Target Auto Brokers sold my daughter a used car. The brakes went out 4.7 miles from the dealership. They refused a refund but said they could exchange her car for another. Unfortunately they conveniently did not have another car in her price range. The car they offered was a 1996 mazda 626 for 3600.00, They checked her references and would approve her if she paid $5000.00 for the mazda. It's illegal to fraud or con someone. The computer screen at the dealership said $1000 for the car and $100 dealership fees. When my daughter signed the paperwork her receipt said $600 for the car and $499 for dealership fees. They also offered to fix her newly purchased car for $78.00 per hour plus parts. I think they know they are selling junk cars and hoping for problems so they can make money on labor or upgrade people in dire straights. I don't know what the interest rate is,but i bet it's higher than a bad credit card. Didn't Capitol One just pay for a class action lawsuit for hiding their fees? Seems like the same thing to me. All the Capital One customers signed a contract too.
