I ordered two Suncast Deck Box- Taupe(103 gal.) to HELP keep my property in order. They claim they are water proof also, they are not. These "boxes" have been a nightmare trying to keep them together as they easily fall apart out here in our strong winds.

I messaged target to return them and have had to call them more time then I care to recall. I have been told UPS would pick them up as they were since they them selves are boxes, but wrong... they are not sturdy enough to be picked up by UPS.

Called target again and was told I could have them broke down and bundled and UPS would pick them up. Wrong again! I paid $50. to the same guy to break them down and bundle them as I paid to have them put together, $50. also. Still UPS will not pick them up.

Then target tells me another company will come pick them up. Wrong again, nobody shows up for them. So again I call target and now I am told that everything all the agents has told me are false and that I have to have them boxed.

These items are VERY BIG and I can not get boxes for them. I also live 120 miles from the nearest target.

This has been a nightmare. I am disabled and have had to chase these flimsy things all over my property during and after our many wind storms here.

Can anyone think of something I have not tried???

I have talked and talk to them on the phone asking for their supervisor and then their supervisor until I got to a Micheal W. in WV who says he is the boss of everything. I have also saved the numerous emails concerning this.

You can't ship something without a box

It is common sense that shipping items via UPS or any other carrier requires that the item be in a box. You cannot take apart a large item and "bundle it together" and ship it as-is. If you do not have the original box, then go look for one that will fit, or go to a pack-and-ship store and BUY a box.
