I open a vista credit account with Target during Christmas time to get a deal on a digital camera. The first few months everything seems ok. Then I received a letter from Target Visa stating that they are lowering my credit line. I called them to find out why they were lowering my credit line and they blamed in on the economy. Then a few months later, I decided to pay a third of the balance to bring down my balance. A month later, I received another letter from Target Visa stating that they lower my credit line again. I called target to find out why my credit line was lower again. This time Target stated that it relate to one of the Credit bureau agency. I Contact the three credit bureaus agency and the only thing found was target lowering my credit limit. I contact Target visa and paid the full balance on the account and closed it. The follow month I get a bill from Target Visa for $19.00 on a close account. I called them to find out why the bill on a close account. They stated that it was a service charge and that they will wave the fee. Then the next following month I received another bill from Target Visa. Now the bill was for $35.92.. Now not only they didn't waved the $19.00 charge from the last bill but added a late charge to the bill on a close account. Target visa has been reported to the BBB and this is a consumers alert for all consumers!!!
