Tax Brain And SBBT Don't use.. you won't get your money direct deposit and you will just get the run-around. Internet

My husband and I have filed with tax brain for the past 2 years but this will be are last time. This company has made a big mistake and will not own up to it. My husband and I filed this year for 2009 on Jan.15. We paid to use them on the internet. IRS accepted a few days later and then gave Jan.29, 2009 as the date it would be direct deposited into our account.

Well, Friday the 29th came and through-out the whole day we kept on checking with our bank. Beginning to wonder, and called IRS. IRS stated to us that it should have been sent to our bank that day. So, we called Tax Brain to find out what was going on. The customer service gave us the run-around and each person had a different explaination for what happened. We were told that they had no clue, that the IRS messed up and they didn't know where it was, and that Tax Brain messed up and sent to the wrong bank and it should be fixed by the next morning. We were told to call IRS, the Tax Brain Bank(Santa Barbara Bank), and the bank it went to in error. All three places referred us back to Tax Brain. So, we gave up that night on calling and decided to wait and see what happens Saturday morning.

Saturday morning came, we firsted checked with our bank, no deposit made. Then, I called Tax Brain. This time the customer service reps were very rude. The first guy I talked to gave me the run around telling me he had no idea what was going on. He didn't ask any of my information he just told me "IRS will mail you a check". I ask him how he knew that without even looking up my information. He just kept referring me to call IRS or wait for my check in the mail. I asked for a supervisor but he refused. I went online and did the chat online and that got me no where as well. I called back spoke to a different lady and she just told me that there was a problem with banks and I would now have to wait for a paper check. I attempt to call the banks but just got referred to call Tax Brain for an explaination.

At this point, I am very unhappy with the service of Tax Brain. Now, my family must wait additional 3-6 weeks for a papercheck, which these days and time, not safe to send money or checks in the mail. So,we must hope we get the check without someone stealing it out of my mailbox. I urge you DO NOT USE TAX BRAIN for these reasons, they are not a trust worthy company and I don't want to see anyone esle get ripped off by them.
