Complaint Review: TAX READY

Had phone conversation with Tax Ready in Nov. 2001 informed me they would be sending me an audio cassette for free and guarnteed at least a $5,000 refund on my tax return and convinced me try their service. Every company I have every dealt with you always get the service before the charge, oh no! not this company I was charged $995.00 to my credit card the very next day without receiving the free cassette first or any service of any kind from the "so called company".

I called the very next day to inform them I was no interseted in this service and to cancel, I was told to be at home and someone would return my call in 10 minutes, needless to say they did not call back until later that week. The second time I called the following week they would call me on a certain date and time. I was informed that my wife and I both needed to be together in order to have this coaching call to cancel this service. I played phone tag for the next seven weeks and once I did get in touch with them I was told to give it a try most people now getting back anywhere from $7,000-$8,000 it seemed like everytime I tried to cancel they wre painting an even prettier pricture why to stay with Tax Ready Services.

I called them back again and was informed that I would need to do one coaching call to get a refund with my wife present. I waited two weeks for a call back it never occcured, once again I called them and demandd that this service be cancelled and was never told after twelve weeks that I needed to sent something in writing to get my money back. I was never told that I needed a coaching call this time to cancel so they have never been consistent in anything that they have ever stated. I still do not have my refund to my credit card nor has this service been able to be cancelled.
