Today it's been two weeks since the IOC office returned our last offer. I expected your office to appeal and contest their request for additional filling fees.
I have grown increasingly frustrated and disappointed in the way your office has handled this simple case. Back in September, 2004, I was led to believe that I had nothing to worry about. I was told that your firm was going to handle anything and everything that was related to the completion of a settlement with the IRS in regards to my debt with the above mentioned agency and that you would handle it in full. I was even told that "circumstances like mine were the reason for which you (Tax Relief Associates) came to work everyday an how much personal satisfaction the help provided imparted up! on you". "Hang on, let me speak with one of our lawyers...Yes, Mr. Davila we can settle this account with the IRS for about $10,000 under an installment agreement".

Six months have passed and no measurable gain has been obtained towards a settlement conclusion with the IRS. When you pay an entity for services and you find yourself working as hard to see them come true, a question comes to mind, What did I pay $1,200 for? I'm finding myself calling your firm when you should be calling. Filling responses and additional OIC when our contract indicated you would be taking care filling. Chasing information on status and steps your office should be following. Calling after waiting for your non present calls and/or responses, even weeks after the IRS has replied and accompanying documentation has been mail to your office by their agency, on which case, remedial action would have been expected by your office. Instead when I call, I'm told ,"I think I saw that letter 2 weeks ago". And?. Emailing two or three times before a half focused and seemingly forced answer is returned. I'm convinced that when you pay someone for any service, you expect that someone to complete it in full without your constant involvement.

If your work load is too much and you are finding yourselves without the allowable time or manpower to respond and represent your customers, in a way that you would like to be represented, maybe we should consider annulling this contract and reimbursing the paid fees. I can then procure the services of another firm that may be willing to provide the required and expected representation that under the terms of the contract dated October the 13th, 2004 your office offered.

Again, I do not want to find myself working and worrying on a matter that I have paid your office to take charge of, to worry and work on.

I'm looking to resolve these issues and come to a common ground on which your interests as well as mine are protected.

Respectfully yours,
Juan

I thought my story was unique and isolated! The same circumstances and deceit methods are repeatedly used for many consumers.

I'm aware that there are many individuals robbed by this company and some are in the Rip-off.com files. We need to get together to provide additional information to the media, state agencies, radio and news papers and expose these people to the world. They need to be shut down and our hard earned money reimbursed!!! I have every intention of informing every and anyone about these people's money robbing scams until they make it right!! For me and every other person they done wrong to!! I'm confident is just a matter of time before their scam is exposed on TV. Every single filling I've read at Rip-off reports.com about this company presents the same story and the same behavior from this company towards their "clients?" victims.
