TaxACTonline.com was paid for what they advertised on their website as a online tax filing for PA State Income tax filing. What they provided a tax form that had to printed out (you a informed of this after in enter in credit card information) then send in to the state department of revenue. The form I received was greatly incorrect rendering it unusable. TaxACTonline.com refused to refund monies paid for a service/product not received. What was offered by the company was a correction of the form.

To reiterate:
1) TaxACTonline.com falsely advertised online filing for PA State Income Taxes.
2) TaxACTonline.com charged this consumer $15.95 for incorrect unusable tax form to be printed and sent in via mail.
3) TaxACTonline.com Refused a refund of services/product they did not produce.

In my opinion which was formed by my personal experience, TaxACTonline.com should not be used due to their incompetance (in this case) and refusal to refund monies paid in good faith.

The question is: how many more filings were produced incorrectly?

In Colorado, once your federal taxes are done, state taxes are very easy. But I decided I would just ahead an use taxact to do my state taxes also. It was HUGE mistake. I will never use TaxAct again.

First I did not understand whether they sent Colorado my debit information, or not. I filled in the fields to use my debit information, but then then TaxAct instructed me to print out these forms and mail them in with a payment to Colorado. I called TaxAct to clear this up, and they wanted to charge me *another* $7.95 to answer my question.

I finally found out that taxact did not send Colorado my debit information, or my form DR 900. I had to do all that myself. Total rip-off. TaxAct did less than nothing for my money.
