Taxpayers Negotiation Group Took $ 2500.00 for services not performed and vanished Malibu California
July 2007-My contact person name was Paula Wood ,Sr. Tax Advisor, from the Taxpayers Negotiation Group in Malibu CA. She sent me a letter with instructions for payment and prodedures to follow and informed me that an ex-IRS agent would be contacting me for further information. I checked out all the names and addressess with the Better Business Bureau and they checked out. I was contacted by a Mr. James R. Stanley, enrolled agent @ 4828 N. Kings Highway, #228, Fodrt Pierce, FL 34951. PH# [772] 794-3874 fax # [772] 794-3870. [email jstanley838@yahoo.com] I sent Paula Woods $ 2500.00 and faxed James R. Stanley all the tax information he requested including a Power of Attorney form to give him authority to work on my tax situation in my behalf. In August I received an e-mail from Paula Woods to see how things were progressing and I replied that I had just sent all the information to James R. Stanley via his assisstant [paralegal] Debbie Hayes.
In November 2007, I contacted Paula Woods via email and requested an update on my case and recevieved an c.c. of an email she had sent to Debbie Hayes [ dahayes1958@yahoo.com] and James R Stanley [jstanley838@yahoo.com] asking them to contact me on the status of my case. I soon followed up with emails and phone calls to all the parties and discovered disconnected phone lines, e-mail addresses and full mail boxes. The Better Business Bureau now has a F rating for this company. A little late for alot of people!
