Complaint Review: Taylor Morrison Home Builders

Foundation Failure and no customer support;

As I purchased a new home from Taylor Morrison in GIlbert AZ, by the tone of their adds and TV commerials you would have thought they were your life long friends concerning a purchase of thier home. However, for our purchase thier home in Shamrock Estates in Gilbert AZ, it soon became clear of the issues as a result of poor construction planning. They built an entire community on soil that was extremely expansive and they utilized the wrong foundation type; floating, instead of the appropriate foundation for that type of soil. When we started having foundation issues to the extent that termites and roach's are coming up through the cracks. As I did not pursue legal action of any kind as I trusted Taylor Morrison, when I contacted them with my issue, I got a prompt response that "Taylor Morrison has made a decision NOT TO honor any more foundation claims specific to Shgamrock Estates. I may suffer in the end as I cannot afford to legally take on an empire, but if I can influence a few hundred potential buyers, I will get my monies worth. Shame on Taylor Morrison for taking on such a corporate stance in the name of profits vs. the needs and support of thier customers. There is presently an AirBag manufacturer that took that same position; look where it got them.
