I booked a lesson with this company weeks ago. I've called the company and the instructor dozens of times with zero response. I've sent emails, and still have them, asking for a call, email or smoke signal if they prefer, to let me know whats happening. Today I logged into my account and the lessons I've paid for are no longer in my account and all my money is gone. This isn't the company I thought it was, and I hope you can help make sure no one else gets scammed, thanks.

The owner of the company has a solid arrest record, which I should looked at before doing business with this company.

There are two issues with the complaint registered. I've responded to them each below. In addition to the info below, I feel it relevant to add that our company has been around for over ten years. We've provided tens of thousands of music lessons to thousands of students nationwide. We have kept an A+ rating with the BBB for over 6 years. We are members in good standing with NAMM (National Association of Music Merchandisers), NMTA (National Music Teacher's Association of America), and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). We are also members in good standing with the Virginia and Texas Secretary of State. Finally, we have been featured recently on ABC's hit show "Shark Tank".

#1 - Complaint against me personally.

I have NEVER NEVER been accused, charged, or arrested for any of the crimes you've listed below. The worse thing I've ever been ticketed for are traffic violations. To publicly state otherwise is, legally, slander and ethically reprehensible.  

#2 - About our company's communication practices.

Hi Adam,

We take communication with our students very seriously. I've checked the entire record and found the following... Please keep in mind that we are generally not open on the weekends and that we follow a strict policy to return all voice messages, emails, and texts within ONE business day.   You purchased a single lesson for $60 on Saturday, Jan 12th. As our office is closed on weekends, we got the purchase notice on Monday, Jan 14th.

We left a voice message for you on Monday, Jan 14th to confirm your information and needs. You called three times and left voice messages back for us on Tuesday, Jan 15th. We returned your calls a spoke with you on the phone about your upcoming lessons on (same day as your messages) on Tuesday, Jan 15th.

We called and left a message again on Friday, Jan 18th (at noon) to discuss a scheduling issue with your selected instructor and to provide options. We emailed you also at this time on Friday, Jan 18th to let you know we were having trouble reaching you. You returned our call and left three voice messages with us on the same day, Friday, Jan 18th. We called you back (again) and left another message on the same day Friday, Jan 18th (4pm).

You returned our call and left three more voice messages with us on the same day, Friday, Jan 18th.   You emailed us back on Friday, Jan 18th. We then emailed you the next day Saturday, Jan 19th. It is now Monday and we are emailing and calling again Monday, Jan 21st.   Put simply, we have called four times (spoke in person once) and emailed you three times (including this email) since we received your purchase notice seven days ago. 

This is not the behavior of a company that is not trying hard enough to get in touch with you.   You purchased a single lesson for $60. Our company will not live or die on this transaction. Our only interested is to provide quality music instruction. You are more than welcome to a full refund at any time. Let me know if that is what you would like and I'll arrange for that immediately.

Otherwise, I'd like to discuss instructor options as (we had mentioned) your original instructor will not be available on the schedule you selected. We've personally reached out to some of our other favorite instructors and confirmed that they will be available on your schedule. I've provided links to their profile pages below. Let me know if you'd like to try a lesson with any of these. Again, you are welcome to a full refund now. If you decide to try a lesson with a different instructor and are not satisfied, you are also welcome to a full refund after the lesson (per our satisfaction guarantee).

Obviously, since seeing this terrible and completely false personal accusation, our business has no interest in providing your lessons or having anything to do with you. We have already processed your refund in full for $60.
