Complaint Review: TaylorMade Promotionz

I e-mailed my resume over to TaylorMade Promotionz looking for a job. Within a matter of a coupled hours later, they had e-mailed me back wanting to set-up an interview.

The e-mail they had sent me sounded like I was picked out of soooo many other applicants because i "fit their qualifications". They had made me feel like I completely stood out. Needless to say, I got excited!
In their e-mail they had told me to "read up" on the company. They had a link to the company home page. I read everything (which took about 20 minutes) and felt a lack of knowledge on the company.

It was then that I had decided to Google them. The company had an extrodinarily bad reputation. I read up on all the other people whom had been called in for an interview. I cannot imagine going for a 2nd interview where they take me half way across the state an throw me out to try to sell a product for the next six hours. All without even getting paid for it!

Everyone also seems to mention the gas issue. The driving, and their lack of compensation for gas. The company seems to feed off their own employees money and their cars and their looks.

Thank you to everyone else that had posted about this company. Becasue of you, I have learned what this company is really about. Also, you have saved me a bunch of frustration.

I turned down the interview.
