TCA Rebate rip off Resolution Dept. ripoff denied rebate claimed the postmark was after the deadline New Rochelle New York

TCA Rebate Resolution Dept. denied the rebate I sent in for a Buslink CD-RW drive purchased from CompUSA. They claimed that the rebate was postmarked after the deadline for the rebate. The rebate information was actually sent in prior to the deadline.

I tried calling the number and (after a couple automated messages) their phone switch disconnected me. This happened 4 times before I finally got through to a real person.

Why I tried to discuss with them why the rebate was denied, I was told it was after the deadline. I told them it was mailed before the deadline and I was told there is nothing they can do about the fact that I mailed it after the deadline. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no supervisors were available. I asked what the appeal process was and was told there is no appeal process.

I hung up very frusterated with them. I suspect they falsely entered a postmark date that was after the deadline so they would not have to pay the rebate.
