TCB Sports Marketing All work, NO PAY Deloray Beach, Florida
I have to admit that I did go to work for TCB Sports Marketing in May of this year. I was told that I was going to be working in an area that had an existing client base that was generating 65,000 per year in sales. I was excited for the opportunity to work with schools, doing something that was in my eyes worthwhile.
I was sent to a new school for my first assignment. As a "welcome" to the company, I was turned in to the Chamber of Commerce in the town that I was working in. The Chamber of Commerce had talked to the school and they had no idea what I was doing in the town and that they had not authorized me to solicit ads for the folders. I had no idea what was going on. Upon contacting the home office, I was told that schools were so big that they administration didn't always get told that we were going to be working in that town. The said they would get me a different school to work.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly from there for a while. I was getting paid and I was getting sent to different school systems to work.
After working on my third school for a couple of weeks, I was running out of businesses to talk to. I contacted the office and told them to find me a different place to work. It took 2 weeks for me to receive a new school.
That is when it started going downhill. I stopped receiving paychecks even though I was following all of the guidelines that were specified in the contract that I signed.
I called the office to find out why I was not receiving payment for the work that I was doing and was told that the accounting department was working on the submission of the check.
I am still waiting for three weeks worth of payment...and no amount of contact with the office has come up with any money being sent to me...they are always checking with the accounting department.
To add insult to injury, the company pulled my resume off the internet and contacted me a week ago to see if I would be interested in an opportunity to work with them.
