TCIM Services In Longview Texas Numerous checks that were at least $100 short. never got paid for comission, or incentives and both were promised daily. Very unprofessional. Fraud. Longview Texas
I was one of the many to launch TCIM's inbound program. I was hired in Dec. of 2007. I went through 3 weeks of traning...if thats what you want to call it. We played more games than learned, and our trainer gave us all the answers to our tests. When we moved out on to the floor to start taking calls (and making money, so we thouhgt). It was like the circus had come to town. Im not a judgemental person but i was told a scritct dress code that i had to abide by. And some of the employees attire was very distracting. After taking calls for a couple of days my operations manager felt like his should discuss his personal life in a not so shy manner ( hes homosexual ). I have no problem with that, but others might.
My real issue was that i wasnt getting paid as i should of been. I had been working there for over 90days and had yet to see my hire on bonus. Even though I had brought this to my operations managers attention, as well as his boss attention. They really didnt seem to care. But at the time i had a 1yr. old and daycare is expensive. Needless to say i had to get ugly and Jay Holsenback get me a check. But as far as comission and incintives go thats all a scam . I know that i had made atleast somewhere between $200 and $400 total. And they just kept telling me that it was coming, each week it was a different excuse.
Another issue I had was that the supervisors were very unprofessional as well. I recall numerous times when i was on a call and the customer i was speaking with wanted to talk to a supervisor. we were told to raise our hand and they would come. That hardly ever happened. Alot of the time they were doing each others make up, nailes, hair. And the rest of the time they would tell us to tell the customer that it would be a 45 min. wait if they wanted to speak with an supervisor. All while they were doing absolutly nothing when they advised us to do this.
They also started coming up with this idea that every wednesday was mandatory wednesday, and you had to work till 8:00pm. I totally refused, i had made an agreement during my interview on what my hours were going to be. and that was mon-fri 9:00am to 6:00pm. my son sat in daycare for 9hrs a day, i wasnt even going to consider letting him sit up there for another two. and also i had made an agreement with my daycare as to what timw i would be dropping him off and picking him up. And daycares charge you a fee if you are late to pick up your child, and TCIM wasnt going to pay it.
I ended up being fired i guess, there was never any discussion about it. What had happened was i had gotten sick and had to go to the hospital, the hospital had giving me meds. that i was highly allergic to. I wasnt able to work for two weeks. when i came back they told me that i couldnt miss anymore work for the rest of the month. And i agreed. Sure enough my sons daycare calls days later to tell me that I need to come and pick him up that he had a 101.00 temp. when your child is sent home from daycare with a fever, they cant come back for 48hrs. when it came down to telling my manager that i had to go, he just reminded me of the agreement we had, and i knew my son was far more important than a joke of a job that tries to work you to the bone and give you a dime for you work.
