Complaint Review: The Discount Warehouse

i sent tdw $1900.00 for 3 pallets of sears tools. when received, first of all there wasn't that much and what was there was broken, missing critical parts or not working at all. needless to say i was less than thrilled. i am a fix it type person but this stuff was beyond that. i knew right away there was no way i could recoupe my investment....so i called my salesperson, carol.

after several days of leaving messages and no return calls i call customer service. oh, by the way if you go to their website and complain through the feedback link you get an automated email with all their sh*t advertised. no one actually reads it. anyway, i finally get a real person that listens to my complaint. she tells me mike will give you a call when he comes in. no call! next day, call back. i get carol my sales person. i go through the same spiel again. carol puts me on hold for a minute. carol says that she has just spoken to karla who was on her way back from lunch. carol says karla will call you in 10 minutes with a solution to your problem. great!..... she never calls!

the next day...i call again. not in a good mood over this runaround, unprofesionalism and pure waste of my time, i try to be nice. this time i get customer service(haha!),marcene, marcella, something like that. she listens to my complaint and puts me on hold. she comes back and tells me "mike" will call you in 20 minutes with a solution. great! he never calls! i get a mesage 6 hours later to call this marcella, marcene, whatever at a certain extension. it is too late that day so i wait and call the following morning. marcene, macella, whatever says they will give $500.00 credit on my next order. i flat refuse! i tell her why would i spend more and take the chance of going in the hole more? she doesn't understand why i am upset! she says she will tell mike, whoever that is?

guess what?...never heard from them! this crap just pisses me off! i will do anything to help stop this kind of ripoff business! i am tired of these people and there inconsiderate ways! this is merely my first letter on tdw. i will do what i can! if anyone has more ideas please contact me.lets put a stop to this and give them the advertisement they deserve!!!
