Complaint Review: TeaJunky.com

TeaJunky.com On December 16, 2007 I ordered a item from teajunky.com for a christmas present. I recieved the item, but relized my daughter had one already and wanted to return item. There is no phone number listed for the company. The only way to contact customer service is to email them. I have sent numerous emails for weeks now to get a approval for the return. No response. Bentonville Arkansas

I ordered a product from teajunky.com on dec 16th. It arrived on time. This was a gift for my daughter, she already had one, so I wanted to return item to teajunky.com. On their website teajunky.com it states for return policy " Return Policy and Procedures We 100% guarantee all products for a period of 30 days after shipping date.All product returns must have prior, authorized approval from our customer care department.

If you are dissatisfied with any product, you must e-mail us at info@teajunky.com (M-F 9am to 5pm CST) within 30 days of shipping date to get a return pre-approval and a Return Authorization Number. Your credit or refund will not include associated handling or shipping charges previously paid. In some situations, a 20% restocking fee may be charged.

For all approved returns, the customer is required, at customer's expense, to return the products along with the Return Authorization Number to:

So I figured I would just send them a email and the return would be easy. They are a bad company. It has been weeks now, sent numerous emails and no response at all from anyone in their company. There also is no phone number to reach the company. For customers purchasing on the internet on of the internet consumer rights/law is a '7 day cooling off' period during which an order can be cancelled without any reason and a full refund made. This is end of the seventh working day after the day on which you receive your goods. I email the company within a hour of ordering trying to cancel the product. No Response, then it just arrives at my home with no signature needed. I wanted to reject it but could not.
