My wife and I recently purchased a 2004 Nissan Maxima from Team Nissan of Marietta on 3/17/2012.Before our purchase, we were assured by Dwight V-Parrish(Finance Manager) that the vehicle was free of any mechanical issues and had been through a full inspection. He also talked us into buying an extended warranty for $2000, since we were buying a used vehicle. On 04/01/2012 the Radiator hose blew out in our parking lot($200 repair at Nissan). So my wife and I brought the car in to the dealer to have the necessary repairs done.

Shortly after the mechanics inspected the top and bottom hoses, we were told the the front axle seals were leaking and needed to be replaced ASAP! Keep in mind the vehicle inspection report said everything on the car was free of any issues. So we decided since the car was in service, lets go ahead and have them replace the seals via extended warranty($100 deductible vs $500 repairs). Shortly after we received a call from the Service Manager saying neither of the issues were covered in the $2000 warranty....Go Figure.

So I went on Rip Off Report and found the warranty company(Western Dealer Services) is all over Rip Off Report for not covering anything within the service contract. So I called the dealer and spoke with Michael Rios(Dealership Manager) and he told me that the inspection records show that they car was fully inspected and there were no issues prior to my purchase. If that's the case, why would the service manager tell me to have them replaced ASAP if they passed inspection 2 weeks ago?

I then asked Michael Rios if they would be willing to reimburse me for repair costs since they obviously overlooked these issues, and he told me that I would not be reimbursed and that if I was seeking reimbursement, I should hire a lawyer. The main reason I went to a Nissan dealership was to avoid the Buy Here Pay Here lots, and I never would had thought they would treat a "valued customer/consumer" this way. Stay as far away from Team Nissan of Marietta/Michael Rios and Dwight V-Parrish. They will gladly take your money and give you a boot in the a*s on the way out while laughing to the bank! Team Nissan of Marietta + Your hard earned money= Scr*wing with no Lube!!!

This post is in response to my post of Team Nissan of Marietta. After Bringing in my car for repairs, the GM Dustin Fleishman, Used Car Director Paul Richman and Service Manager Rick Mills and Service Advisor Bobby Austin Fixed all issues with my car at no cost and no questions asked. They repaired everything in a timely and professional manner. They also detailed, refilled all fluids and filled my gas tank again at no cost. They also gave my wife a 2012 Nissan Altima at no cost while they were repairing our vehicle. These guys went over and above what I asked them to do just to make sure that we had a great experience. Please see attached files showing the repairs they did.
