Team USA Moving Moving Company ripoff Will not return deposit Fort Lauderdale Florida
Warning, do not believe these people if they tell you they will not charge your credit card until you sign the contract. Once you give them your credit card you may loose your entire deposit, even if you never sign a contract or agree to use them as your movers.
Called to inquire about using Team USA moving, was given an low price but could only see a contract if I gave them my credit card info. Was told that the card would not be charged until the contract was returned signed. When reading the contract it was not what the company had described, e-mailed and called them the same day to tell them I was not interested. Found out 2 days later that they charged my card. Was told by one employee that they could not refund my credit card but would mail me a check and was disconnected before he asked for my full address. Called back to speak with the manager to get the charge removed and manager starts by trying to convince you to reconsider and move with them, but when he realizes that you are not interested he becomes derogatory and rude. He finally agrees to refund my deposit that day, howeer it has been over two weeks and no refund on my account. I have placed an inquiry on the charge with my credit card company.

They are stalling you

If you pay a deposit by credit card, they have to refund the card, not send a check. If they send you a check, that is the same as getting a cash advance from your credit card... so it is against the credit card company's rules to issue a cash refund.
They are just trying to stall you until the 60 days are up and you can't refute the charge.
