This is another complaint in a long list of BBB and customer complaints against Team USA Moving (These BBB complaints are found under Team USA Moving's old address--not the Ft. Lauderdale address).

Team USA Moving aka Teamusamoving.com told me my deposit was necessary to secure the rate quoted, and that it was fully refundable. If I didn't book with them immediatly, they claimed, I would lose the rate because the DOT was about to change the rate (total lie).The amount was $280. I was never told there would be a processing fee if I canceled, and if I was, I would have given it my credit card number.

No documents were ever provided to me before charging my card, and I signed nothing. When I canceled a few days later, Team USA Moving withheld a so-called processing fee of $89over 30% of the deposit!

These employess and owner operate under ficticious names

As a former employee I just want to state that the employees of this company and the owner work under fake names. Anthony who is the manager, real name is Joe Fierro, the owner Stephen Smith works there under the name Chad Smith.

This company is run over a bar and when you try to reach them and they do not answer your calls its because they are at the bar down stairs. They sit there and laugh about how they are going to rip off certain ethnic groups. They could care less about the people they move. All they care about is the commissions they are making. Stay clear of them.

Until recently we all worked out of Steve's apartment. Please be careful when hiring a mover and if possible do it yourself. I am sorry for your monetary loss just be grateful they didnt provide your service because your move costs would have doubled.
