The original Anonymous poster states that the Fit2Max LLC doesn't exist. That is not true; Fit2Max, LLC was legally registered in Delaware on November 25, 2008.

Also, here is the information found on the PA Better Business Bureau's website:

I find it interesting that there aren't hundreds of complaints for this company like I find for other online scams. Heck, there aren't even any "plants" posting positive experiences!

There are only two recent "complaints" posted on RipOffReport, and neither of them actually detail any specific fraudulent activity that has occurred with this company, TeamFitnessAmerica. It's fairly common in business for companies to change names, move states, file LLC in different states, etc. -- especially if the original business failed, a partnership split up, or a prominent officer was arrested and/or lost credibility -- so I can't judge it just based on the paper trail.

Granted, a search of "National Home Trainers" results in 42 additional complaints (most from 2007), so there's at least some concern if the same proprietors now run TeamFitnessAmerica.com

I couldn't find anything on that website that states they're located in Emeryville, CA as the original complainant asserted.

I'd feel better if there were some rebuttals from actual customers who have used the service and been happy, or from employees who felt the services described are valid and of the quality expressed.

Perhaps I should give it a shot and report back? I'll think about it...I DO need to lose a few (i.e., 80) pounds!

I know everyone doesn't know what a whois database search is so I providing the results of a whois search to support this complaint which clearly shows an "Alan Prior" is the owner of teamfitnessamerica.com. Alan Prior was the president of National Home Trainers. Fit2Max.com is no longer a valid web site but if you look in googles cache you can scroll to the bottom and see they are Team Fitness America.

It's also interesting that they say they've been doing this service since 2005 on their web site but they've only had a this web site since November 25, 2008.
