Back in October, I needed help getting my printer online so I can print from my computers.  While "Roy" was knowledgeable and I was able to get my services restored, I was uncomfortable with his sales pitch about a 3 year service to protect my devices.  Anyway I ended up putting out $300 for this protective service.  I am not tech savvy although I am making every effort to learn and be more independent.  

In November, there was some other service for $99.99 to add another device and I figured at $99, this should take care of me for life.  Not on my life.  Today, January 11th, 2016, I called and once again got my printer online again.  When the tech person tried tosell me this service for "endpoint protection, which includes anti virus, anti malware, anti trojan, anti spyware, network security, emails and banking, 7 layers of protection, I told him no!.  I told him, "every time I call, you guys try to sell me some other thing.  Then he tries to convince me that I am at risk for hackers, computer crashers, etc., and showed me all these lines of information that supposedly is information that hackers have access to.  But this time, I stood my ground and said "no.  I will do my own comparison shopping."  Then he pulls up Best Buy endpoint protection for $1100 something dollars, and another company's for $6,700.  I said, "No thanks.  I will figure it out myself."  

Whew!  I still have $700 in my pocket that they did not get.
