Tech Productz Inc. Tech Goods ecommerce scam Walnut Creek , California
I followed a link from Amazon.com to a site that had a great price on a camera I wanted. They didn't accept credit cards, but required a code for a cash card that had to be purchased at a retailer.
A few days after submitting the numbers I received an email stating they were backordered and asked if I wanted to wait or receive a refund in the mail. I asked for a refund.
That was 4 days ago and I haven't heard anything back. I tried calling their number and it is disconnected.
It is a Yahoo ecommerce, so I wrote to them. Apparently they will let anyone use their server and don't do any background checking.
Now I know the hard way. I'm out $140!
