Complaint Review: TECHNICAL SERVICES AIR CONDITIONING AND DUCT CLEANING

Technical Services was contracted by my parents for almost 10 years, they replaced the air handler 8yrs ago, replaced the condenser 4 yrs ago. Recently replaced the duck work and insulated. Then last week the condenser s compress failed. They told my parents that they could not get r22 Freon any longer, the compressor was not under warranty, if they could even get one, it would cost 2500.00 to replace the compressor. Then talked my parents into a 8,000.00 AC unit. Called an AC friend to look at the unit, He got the compressor for nothing under warranty and did the replacement for 400.00. The AC unit that technical services wanted 8,000 My New AC Guy could be gotten for less than 4,000. 

My parents canceled the next day and they had the nerve to ask for 650.00 restocking fee.  Keep away from technical services, they treat you right until you trust them than try and take advantage of the ignorant and elderly.
