Telebrand Debited my account for more than 3 times the amount for Obama Historic Plates. WHen I called to cancel my order ,prior to shipment, I was told I could not cancel. After being told I would be called, no one called. Fairfiled, New Jersey
I called after seeing an ad on tv regarding "Historic Obama Commemorative Plates". I ordered a few plated totaling $98.93. The next day I found out they had debited my account for $207.84. I then called to cancel the order as I became uneasy with the transaction. I was told I could not cancel. I asked for a supervisor but was told none was available after holding for over a half hour. Each time I call I I am told I will get a return call but no one calls back. As a senior citizen I am extrememly worried I will not get my money back from this company.

How easily this could have been avoided if you had called the number and told them you did not have a credit card number and there should have been a physical address at the bottom of the screen and you should have sent a US Postal money order there..
what happened to you is what happens when you just give out your credit card number to somebody on the phone thinking that they are honest.
WHICH IS WHY I NEVER GIVE OUT MY CREDIT CARD TO ANYBODY ON THE PHONE OR ON THE INTERNET!
NOW YOU KNOW WHY.
GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK.
YOU PROBABLY WON'T GET THE PLATES EITHER OR IF YOU GET THEM, THEY WILL PROBABLY BE BROKEN AND NOT AS MANY AS YOU ORDERED ORIGINALLY.
