Telebrands "As Seen on TV" Handy Chef utensils and Pasta Pot ripoff - They weren't as seen on TV!! They were worse. Internet
I ordered the "As Seen on TV" Handy Chef utensils (2), along with a free Pasta Pot for $14.99, plus $5.99 shipping and handling. The confirmation order number was #2003050514481062.
Approximately 3 weeks later I received the Handy Chef utensils with a coupon to send in for the "free" Pasta Pot for a low shipping and handling fee of $9.99. My understanding was that the Pasta Pot would be delivered with the original order and there would be no additional fee.
My credit card was charged a shipping and handling cost of $12.99, not $5.99, and the Handy Chef utensils were not the same as shown on "As Seen on TV" but were made of a think metal, squared off at the top, not round like shown on TV.
I won't purchase anything from Telebrands again.

I was ordering some item on line. During the process of paying I didn't pay attention that check box was selected for the special offer that telebrands.com has had.. When I've got the summary instead $29.95 plus shipment it was $80.94 and products that I never ordered. There was no way to modify the order and in 5 min I've got email conformation that my order has been placed. I've reply to this email asking to cancel it immediately
Telebrands [support@telebrands.com]. Email was returned with status undeliverable. I've call the customer service and after 15 min of waiting the lady told me that she can't help me because it needs 24 hours to see my order in a system. I left my name and phone number. Next day I've called back and talk with the same lady she told me that she can help me because my order has a shipment status. I asked her if I can talk to supervisor, she refused to give the number. I ask her about her name she hanged up on me.
