Telecheck's has the wrong information.

I'm not sure if you can help me?
I recently tried to open a checking account at Washington Mutual. They informed me that I've been reported to check systems (Telecheck's Check Writer Services) they gave me a phone number to call (800-366-2425) I called this number and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Moe ID# 5627,

I explained to him what happened he asked for my information and said that someone wrote a check for the amount of $1,400 to Comp USA that had the same last name as me. He said I can see this is not you, the name is different. He asked me to fax over my information:

A copy of my ID, SSC, And a copy of my bank card. So I did, I called to see if they had received this information talked with another gentleman by the name of Tony, he said he had no way of checking if they received the fax I just had to wait.

Called back about five days later they still have not cleared this up. So I decided to wait about another week. This all starter 12/23/06 they still have not cleared this up. I called today they informed me that the fax that I sent was unreadable but no one contacted me to let me know. I had my Cell Phone#, House phone, Email Add.,

This really upsets me! They know it's not me, why don't they help me. I cant open a checking account to cash my payroll checks I now have 2, I refuse to pay 30-40 dollars to have them cashed at a nicks checking. I've asked for a Supervisor to call me back I'm still waiting.

I don't know what else to do, I would like to report them where do I start? This is so wrong.
