I ordered flowers for Mom's funeral on May 8th and it was the morning before the funeral. It was very hard to talk to the operator as English was not her native language. I had to repeat words and spellings several times for her. She was going to spell my name Dug until I finally got her to understand that the correct spelling was Doug. It was the worst experience in my life on the phone with someone. I said several times that the funeral was tomorrow morning at 9 AM.

We received a confirmation e-mail shortly and I was most dismayed to say the least. She had mispelled Mom's first and last name, she has misspelled the name of the funeral home which I had spelled out for her several times and she had misspelled the name of Beverly. I caught her spelling it as DEV and I corrected her, saying BEV was short for Beverly, BEV. She still got it wrong! The worst was that she had written down that the delivery date was the eighteenth of May and I had said several times the funeral was tomorrow morning at 9AM.

I called right back and spoke to another operator, he seemed to have an Indian accent. He said he would make the corrections for us. I said several times that the funeral was tomorow morning at 9 AM and why couldn't he have the flowers delivered today, he said" We will deliver tomorrow". I said that's fine but the funeral was at 9AM you would have to deliver them before 9 AM and he said OK.

Well, the funeral happened and we discovered that our flowers had not arrived, and because there weren't too many flower arrangements at the funeral it was very noticable that our flowers were missing. How would you feel if your Mom didn't get the flowers you ordered for her? An omission like that could cause family problems.

Later that day I called Teleflora and spoke to someone who pulled up the file, "Yes, I see that you ordered flowers for a funeral for May 18th. Shhhhhhhsh!!! Of course I cancelled the order and it seems that my credit card was not charged for the flowers.

This is my experience dealing with Teleflora. I would steer very clear of them! Next time I have to order flowers I will do it through a local florist that I can meet face to face. I will also take the time to visit ripoff report to see a company's reputation, that would of steered me away from Teleflora in the first place!
