I have been called by this same company almost DAILY for the past 3 months, where they call and ask for my vehicle's mileage, VIN number, and my credit card information... I thought it was real for a while, since the vehicle actually is almost out of warranty, and they tricked me into paying $100 and signing up for their "24 month payment plan" and telling me that I have 30 days to cancel the plan if I'm not satisfied. I was suckered in, until I recieved the confirmation call giving me my receipt number... The first phone number they had called from, was listed with my current area code, but the confirmation code had a 1800 number instead... Thats when I started googling the supposed "warranty company" online... They claimed that the warranty extension was through "SunPath Coverage" and when I asked where they were located, they only told me they were based out of southern California, and wouldnt give me a full address. When I compared that information with the address on the letter I recieved (from a New York location) I knew it was bull s***.

I instantly called back to cancel the policy, and they put me on the line with some woman named Ashley who literally spilled her entire life's story to me about how she is a mom of an 8 year old and a 3 year old, going through a divorce, her cousin is adopted, her step mom is infertile and used a surrogate to get pregnant, and she has had two miscarriages, and currently (coincidentally!) has the same amount of student loan debt as I do. She has a dodge that she owes $3,000 on, and a Chrysler that her husband owes $16,000 on, and apparently everything she has is in her name so she is on a fixed income until she fully files for divorce. I didnt need to know this, but I knew it was a scam when they put me on the phone with a woman spewing her life's story, because they wanted me to identify with her and sympathize with her to end up not cancelling my policy.

After nearly an hour of talking with "Ashley-you-dont-need-to-know-my-last-name" and her trying to offer me "$500 credit towards my policy" I explained to her that I was resolute in cancelling the policy, to which she responded by going from a bubbly girlfriend, to a cold hearted b***h in 0.5 seconds. She got angry with me, told me she "prays nothing bad happens to my vehicle" and said I "wasted her time, and took advantage of her company by trying to take a policy out on a vehicle with a preexisting condition" when I did no such thing. She asked "what kind of a person takes advantage of a well meaning company?" And said "you ought to be ashamed of yourself." I had already been told about the policy not covering any preexisting conditions, but I fed her that lie so I could get out of the policy, since everywhere I read online said it is virtually impossible to get out of these policies once they've suckered you in. She then told me "It has been taken care of" and I asked her if it was canceled and she said "that is what I just said" and I asked if there was a confirmation number, a receipt, or if I get an email confirming the cancellation, and she angrily replied "What you GET is my words right now, it has been dealt with, its done!" I asked her the location of the company so I could look it up online, and she said "I'm not giving you that information." And when I asked for her full name again, she said "Just Ashley, I'm the only Ashley working here" so I never got her last name. Then she said "If you're done, have a nice day," and she hung up on me.

I will be cancelling my credit card, and disputing the charge with Chase as fraud, since there has been no change in the charge's status yet and I will be blocking all calls and shredding all letters from this God forsaken place. The phone numbers they used: 1-877-324-0916 1-800-909-6192 1-262-203-9764 Names of people I spoke with: Tony Jones Ashley ? Carmen Edwards John ? Christopher ? Company they said the warranty was under: SunPath Coverage Plan I was supposedly sold: "Platinum Powertrain Option Coverage"
