Complaint Review: Telemessaging USA

Telemessaging USA - Kurt Duncan Overcharging clients, and extremely poor service Phoenix Arizona

Telemessaging USA (which is owned by Kurt Duncan) is by far the worst after hours call center option ever. Why? They overcharge you for minutes used. They make excessively long calls, and when you ask for a recording to see what in the world they talked about (while charging you .65 per minute), they can not provide any recordings, etc. They sidestep with evasive answers.

All the press on the web is published by them. They say that they can take orders for your customers, or write down messagings for you. They charge 50 cents - 1 per minute to do so. What they dont say is that their system is very unreliable, dropped calls, so customers calling YOU but reaching THEM have such a bad experience, a normal customer becomes irate.

What they dont tell you is that they also will leave calls on hold for 10 minutes. Especially after hours. (they say all calls will be answered within one minute).

What they dont tell you is that they cant provide you with any recordings. If you ask for something, they will say you didnt have X. IF you give them X, they will say you didnt have Y and Z.

Ultimately, if you plan on using Telemessaging USA as a customer service, order taking, or even answering service, you will be sorely disappointed.

What also is fantastic is our company is regulated by the phone companies. Several times they have listened to calls fielded by TelemessagingUSA, and they were extremely upset to find customers being treating extremely rude. Several were even hung up on.

Of course, if you ask them to pull call logs for those.. they cant. What a SCAM!

TelemessagingUSA.com is a huge ripoff. They will piss off your customers, and cost your company thousands of dollars. On top of that, they will overcharge your minutes, so you will be LOSING thousands, and also being ripped off by Kurt Duncan's telemessaging USA company!!!!!

Retraction of complaint regarding TelemessagingUSA

#5Author of original report

Thu, August 06, 2009

TelemessagingUSA (TMUSA) and our company had a dispute that arose out of a misunderstanding. On June 6, 2009, our company posted a negative report about TMUSA.

Since the posting of that report I am happy to advise that TMUSA has specifically addressed the items with which we were concerned and all issues have been resolved satisfactorily.

Because of the rules of this site we are unable to remove the negative report. However, we wish to post this in order to assure potential customers of TMUSA that their service is more than satisfactory. In fact we have committed to continue our relationship with them into the future.

If you need further assurances of the competence and professionalism of TMUSA feel free to contact us directly and we'll be happy to put you in touch with them.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

Report not valid and is an attempt to deflect..

After completely reviewing and researching this complaint our attorney advised us not to respond to these groundless accusation of a previous client who themselves have hundred of complaints lodged against them. After careful review of the items listed in this false and slanderous report we decided to respond with this statement:

This website takes these reports and publishes them as truth without checking any facts or making users submit any type of facts to support their accusations.

The previous client of ours making this false report is A Digital Village (website: adigitalvillage.com ) which is run by unknown other people. A Digital Village is itself listed on this website and many more sites like it, with hundreds of complaints against it. This company contracted with our company for call center services several years ago to provide people who complained with refunds and to cancel their web hosting accounts. Although we conducted an initial background check on this company prior to accepting them as clients, we have since discovered that they appear to be involved in billing phone charges to people that never signed up for their services.

We understood we would be handling calls from their clients who claimed not to sign up for their services but after reviewing hundreds of calls and listening to many hours of recordings between our staff and their callers we have found a pattern of deception and illegal acts known as cramming. ADigitalVillage.com claims that people have signed up for their services and in turn charge the unsuspecting "clients" telephone bills with a monthly charge of $9.95-19.95 in hopes that the person responsible for the phone bill will never notice the charge.

ADigitalVillage.com employee Nick has instructed us to cancel accounts but not to issue refunds. When we questioned this practice he told us that we were processing too many refund requests and we should only cancel the accounts of the people requesting but not to order a refund and they would look into each case. It has become evident after reviewing the call logs and recordings that too many people were calling over and over again because the cancellations and refunds are never processed by the employee's of ADigitalVillage.com and in many cases the charges have continued.

Our employees have always treated callers with respect and courtesy even when their life's have been threatened by callers to ADigitalVillage.com Nick never contracted for us to provide his company with recordings and he in fact has stated in his complaint they record calls (illegally without our knowledge and consent) so why would they need such calls from us? Also, this company has used our services for 3 years and it wasn't until we questioned the fact they were possibly doing something illegal did they decide they wanted to deflect by questioning our charges. When they questioned our charges we provided them with a complete call log directly from the phone company. When we attempted to set up a call with client to discuss the records we provided they refused to return calls. When we pressed them for a call they set up two times and then failed to meet. Then ADigitalVillage.com employee Nick and John filed these false reports on a web site that does not check any facts. They also continued to send calls to our center for processing. After concluding our internal investigation we made the decision that ADigitalVillage.com was conducting illegal acts against our service agreement which they signed. As a result of this material breech of our agreement and the fact we believe that ADigitalVillage.com and it's employee's are cramming (adding unauthorized charges on phone bills) we terminated our agreement immediately as provided by our agreement. They only found another call center after we discontinued services to ADigitalVillage.com It is unfortunate that another call center would be the victim of this company and we hope they discover ADigialVillage.com's deceptive and illegal acts quicker than we did.

As a result of our investigation the Florida Attorney General's Office and several other States Attorney General's have been in contact with us and are in the process of obtain all call records, call records, and recordings of callers so they may contact individuals that may have been victims of illegal cramming by ADigitalVillage. We would urge anyone who has been a victim of illegal cramming by A Digital Village to contact and file a formal complaint with their phone carrier and their local Attorney General. We have also been in contact with the fraud departments of Verizon, AT&T, and other major carriers to stop this illegal practice.

Under normal circumstances we would not resort to replying to a web site like this and we would not disclose any of our clients however the egregious reckless acts of this client has left us no option but to defend our company. It is unfortunate that A Digital Village has used this method to slander our reputation but the lack of complaints against us speaks for itself. We have been in business for many years and have no unresolved complaints and pride ourselves on being professional. If you have any questions about this report please contact us directly prior to making a final decision. We have made attempts to have this report removed from this website without success. It has been shown to us that The reports on this site are being filed by false user's names and have been traced back to Nick of A Digtial Village and it's employees and/or owners.

As a review the review states, we were completely unhappy with service. It ended poorly, and we have been forced to find better service with all the basic features that are demanded from the most basic companies elsewhere.

I really do hope they learn from our poor experience and take steps to better themselves.

They need to have recordings of all agents readily accessible, call log details at their fingertips, and of course, need to settle billing issues. It is concerning for us to have a disparaging amount of total minutes charges when comparing it to the phone company's long distange charges for transferring calls to them.

Specific instances happened, and while many reps at kurts company are very helpful people, the administrative staff left us with ultimately a poor taste in my mouth.

Perhaps they just dont do customer service well, and other facets would have been better.. BUT, after this nightmare, I would not even wish to try, even for free.

Hello, I am filing complaints elsewhere as well. Including PUC (which governs companies that charge for per call minutes)..

However, our company was most likely overcharged 10+k

We will be pursuing legal channels. However, we do understand that other smaller companies may not be able to fight for themselves over the few thousand dollars wasted by telemessaging usa.

So.. if you would like to share your info with our counsel, we would be glad to do so.

We definately want to keep telemessaging usa from slipping in a 10% overage, and just stealing from other companies.
