I have been with Telepacific for three years now. And every time I am more than 30 days late on my bill they CUT my internet usage back? This is called THROTTLING. This is now ILLEGAL in the united states. I pay my bill every month and because i am a little behind TELEPACIFIC throttles back my bandwidth? So they should also discount my bill as I am paying for 20 megs? and only getting 10 megs?

this is now illegal in the united states

No its only illegal to throttle PAYING customers. YOU are over 30 days late. Think about that for a min. When YOU are OVER 30 DAYS LATE on making a payment THEY throttle YOUR speed to remind YOU that YOU have an outstanding balance that needs to be paid. YOU still get to use the internet just not at the same speed as everyone else BECAUSE YOUR ACCOUNT is in arrears. Would you prefer that they COMPLETLY cut you off from the web instead of throttling you? Seems to me that throttling you to get your attention is MUCH better then COMPLETLY cutting you off from the web as a utility company would do. NOT A RIP OFF!!! Just a whiney deadbeat who feels that THEY shouldnt have to pay for thier bills.
