I was recruited to work for TeleReach Corporate as a B2B appointment setter, making cold calls to businesses from a database to make appointments.  I was used, the same as others that I have read about, to perfect the database, eliminating uninterested parties, obtaining proper contact info, etc....  I was never able to earn money from working because they used me to help their chosen employees.  The production manager, Laurel, would "shadow" calls, correct you for no reason, tell you that you are doing it wrong when not, not help you be productive.

The account that I was dialing on was cancelled 2 weeks before my termination.  Most dialers on that account were immediately assigned new accounts, if they did not already have one.  I was ignored, not trained on a new account, had no work to do.  It took the production manager hours, if not days, to get back to you when you requested more work.  And after being ignored for 4 days, emails and IMs not being answered, I received a message from the training manager that my job was terminated.  To rub it in my face, the production manager would send me daily production needs reports, until I told her to stop.  And the worst part, I never received my final paycheck.

This company has always had this problem, as I am finding out.  I am finding the same complaints from others dated as far back as 2009.  My experience with this company was in 2016.  And just prior to my termination they kicked off a new hiring campaign to lure in stay at home moms and those disabled like myself.
