I joined the chamber and never once received a referral from them. The lie about helping you grow your business and sending your referrals. A total waste of money.

I paid $400 to be in there Business Resource Guide and they just sent a letter stating that the printing company is defaulting on the project. Joining the Temecula Chamber has cost me $750. and I have received $0.

All that a Chamber of Commerce does is try to attract new businesses and promote the businesses that it already has.

Did you actually go to the physical location of the Chamber of Commerce office or did some guy come by claiming to be from the Chamber of Commerce and sell you a membership and the ad in the magazine?

What you described sounds like FRAUD and I find it unlikely that a Chamber of Commerce would engage in Fraud.

Maybe it was some scammer pretending to be from the Chamber of Commerce who took the money from you?

You might physically go to the Chamber Office and request your membership fee and the money that you paid for the ads in the magazine and see what happens.

Depending on how you were approached for the membership will depend on whether you get your money back or not.
